Where It All Began
My baby sister has always loved the outdoors. Ever since we were kids, she could spend hours exploring nature, collecting interesting rocks, and discovering little treasures hidden along the trail.
When her birthday came around, I wanted to give her something she would truly love—something more meaningful than anything I could buy in a store. Knowing how much she cherished nature and the simple beauty of stones, I decided to handcraft her a set of Elder Futhark runes using stones I had gathered and carefully selected just for her.
At the time, I had no idea that one birthday gift would change the course of my own journey.
As I researched the history and meanings of each rune, searched for the right stones, and carefully carved every symbol by hand, I found myself falling in love with the entire process. I looked forward to every step—from quiet walks in search of stones to the peaceful hours spent transforming each one into something meaningful.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t just making a gift anymore. I had discovered something that spoke to my own heart.
That single rune set became the beginning of RuneStone Whisperer.
Today, every piece I create is still guided by the same intention that inspired that very first gift. Whether I’m carving runes into natural river stones, selecting gemstones and crystals, or creating ritual-inspired bath collections, my goal is always the same: to craft something that feels deeply personal, meaningful, and connected to nature.
I believe every stone has a story, and every rune offers an opportunity for reflection, intention, and personal growth. My hope is that each handcrafted creation invites you to slow down, reconnect with the natural world, and discover the wisdom that has been waiting for you all along.
